Switch lawn care software. Keep the work straight.
A software migration needs more than a customer export. Reconcile booked visits, deposits, unpaid invoices and service obligations, and rehearse one complete job before moving your live schedule and billing.

The switching checklist
Bring more than a customer list.
Agree what is available, what is moving, and what needs a different plan. Use these checks with your onboarding team.
Booked visits, balances and promised work are the parts a customer notices if the handoff misses them. Walk the next day before you cut over, then bring what you found to your first onboarding conversation.
Make the move reviewable
Walk through the next day.
The setup should match the business you run, from prices to the phone in the truck.
- 1Review the available records.
Keep an original copy of each export. Check a paid customer, a customer with an outstanding balance, a recurring property, and any seasonal work. Agree data mapping and missing records before treating the import as complete.
- 2Rehearse a job under your name.
Review an estimate with your prices, a crew’s assigned visit, the job instructions and photos, and a customer invoice. For lighting, include what remains after installation. For snow, check the site’s billing arrangement.
- 3Agree who handles the handoff.
Set the cutover date, customer communication, accounting mapping, and ownership of existing invoices or recurring charges. Confirm that the crew has the right route and knows where to record its next visit.
Import scope, timing, historical records, and payment-method portability depend on the data and systems involved. Confirm them in your package. No universal automatic transfer or fixed migration time is promised.
Start with your current provider
Get the right exports, then check what is missing.
Jobber documents customer export to CSV or vCard, with access depending on permissions and plan. Housecall Pro documents administrator exports of customer and job lists. These exports are a starting point. Verify their contents against the records your business needs.

The first conversation
Show us how you work.
Bring your services, crew structure, available exports, and the website you want to use. Onboarding starts by agreeing the scope with you. Trace a customer from quote to booked visit, field notes, invoice, payment, and remaining work, and check that story before relying on a larger move.
Tell us your company, services and crews. You review the scope and price before you commit, and sending the request creates no account and takes no payment.
Questions
Good to know before you switch.
Short answers to what owners ask before they send a request. Anything missing goes in your request, and we reply by email.
Can I move from Jobber, Housecall Pro, or Homeworks?
Start with the records your current provider lets you export. We review your data and agree the setup scope during onboarding. The guide does not promise a direct connector or automatic transfer of every field from any provider.
Do saved payment methods come with a customer export?
Do not assume they do. Payment-method portability depends on the existing processor and account setup. Agree how any saved methods and recurring charges will be handled before the billing handoff.
Can I keep my current website?
Yes. Your package can include a company-branded website or a setup around the website you want to keep. Agree the connection and customer experience as part of the package scope.
What should my crews try before the first live day?
An assigned visit with the correct property, access instructions, required photos, and time/completion steps. Have them download their work before entering poor coverage, then review supported updates when the connection returns.
How long will the move take?
The schedule depends on your data, services, website choice, and setup needs. Agree a timeline after reviewing those details instead of relying on a generic number of days.
